This urban design proposal for 10 hectares of north Ballymun aims to create a distinctive village that is suitable for families to settle in at this convenient location beside a planned Metro North station. We were commissioned to generate options at different densities and land uses which were tested by a development economist in order to deliver an optimum capacity which is viable and flexible for market changes over an 8-10 year build out.
The new homes will be within easy walking distance of the metro, bus routes, local shops and school. All homes overlook landscaped grounds and parks, and will meet the demanding energy targets that have been set.
