Homes form the fabric of cities, its basic infrastructure. The combination of their architecture and the spaces between them, the way schemes fit into the city, together with the way, internally, they enable people to live is how we think about their design. While they can be seen as the ‘background’ to a city, homes require a ‘personality’ expressed in form and materials that create a distinct identity with which people can identify and which enhances their context. And our design can be seen as a ‘soft critique’ of the ‘new vernacular’ that has been emerging in recent years. We strive to give our schemes a distinct personality in that sense.

Our work ranges from private homes to large regeneration and urban extension schemes and we are particularly interested in intensification and enhancement of suburbia to provide the homes and places that people need.
