All of our design is rooted in the meaning and story of place. Successful plans drive economic and social dynamism and we focus on the powerful implications of high-level urban design issues that create environmental, cultural and economic outcomes in both masterplanning and architectural terms. Flexibility to accommodate change, passive environmental solutions – in plans and buildings – the avoidance of complexity, and rigorous research into economic outcomes, need to be hardwired into plans.

Our projects range from large-scale new town centres, transport hubs, major regeneration schemes and urban extensions, university campuses and tourist attractions. Masterplanning is not only about making a plan. It is about making change happen.
