Luke joined Metropolitan Workshop in 2010 after completing a Masters degree in Architecture at the University of Bath. Luke is currently project architect for Barchester Street, 115 affordable units in Limehouse, and is working on New Islington, Manchester, 104 apartments and 13 houses providing a variety of typologies and tenures.
Luke has been involved in a number of different projects at Metropolitan Workshop ranging from masterplans such as Dun Laoghaire Harbour, large residential projects like Aberfeldy Village, London, schemes for housing associates such as May Road, Waltham Forest, through to one-off single dwellings such as Moses Dell, Radlett.
Luke was an associate at architectural illustrators AVR London before joining Metropolitan Workshop, where he worked with a number of architects including Herzog and de Meuron, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, Haworth Tomkins Architects and Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners to produce a range of imagery, animation, and three dimensional graphics for competitions, planning applications and marketing uses. At architects and building surveyors CHQ Partnership, Luke was involved in number of projects for Sainsbury Supermarkets including new build stores, extensions and refurbishments.
