Federica joined Metropolitan Workshop as an Architect in 2018 having trained in Italy and Brazil. She is currently working on construction packages for Blackwall Reach Phase II (a BIM Level 2 project) which comprises of four apartment buildings within a phased redevelopment of Robin Hood Gardens for NuLiving and Swan Housing. Prior to this, she was a member of the project team for a residential tower at Vulcan Wharf as part of the regeneration of the former industrial Pudding Mill Lane area in Stratford, for which a planning application was submitted in January 2019.
She graduated from the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) and FAU/Universidade de Brasilia (Brazil). Her thesis work, JuntARQ: aiming to find a new way of living Brazilian rural settlement examined the marginalization of rural poor communities around Brasilia, was selected for the Archiprix International 2017 and YTA Award. She has practiced in Italy as an architect working on housing and with complex historic sites.
