Consisting of circa 600 student bed spaces and 100 apartments in Stillorgan, it was the office’s first application through An Bord Pleanala’s Strategic Housing Development planning route in 2016.
Since then Matthew has helped to produce a Masterplan scheme in collaboration with a number of architects up to planning stages for a site in Donnybrook. The site characterises Irish architecture through the previous masterplan drawn by Scott Tallon Walker. Metropolitan Workshop has collaborated to provide an approach that celebrated this sense of place for Cairn Home Properties Ltd, which looks to deliver circa 600 homes.
He is currently working on the tender packages for a 650 sqm innovation hub for Kildare County Council. Matthew was involved in the planning application of this project and is excited to see it through to site, where he hopes to continue developing the depth of his experience with Metropolitan Workshop.
